God Bless EVERYONE Christmas 2023!

If Jesus Christ came to save mankind’s willful souls by changing their sinful hearts, then, Dickens’ story of Scrooge endures as the epitome of His miraculous Christmas promise being able to turn what seems impossible into possible.

Name the worldly problem among us. Didn’t Jesus assure if we had the faith of a mustard seed, we could move mountains? Consider Ebenezer, then, who once infamously proclaimed: “If I could work my will, every idiot who goes about with ‘Merry Christmas’ on his lips should be boiled with his own pudding & buried with a stake of holly through his heart. He should!”

Well, fast forward past three visitations from 3 diverse Christmas Spirits. What a difference real regret can have on softening even Scrooge’s cold heart. How the call to embrace faith, hope & charity can open a Blind Guide’s eyes. Until even a Scrooge can again want lost friendship & love more than anything else he had gained in the world: “I will live in the Past, the Present & the Future! Scrooge repeated, as he scrambled out of bed. “The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. Oh, Jacob Marley, Heaven, & the Christmas Time be praised for this! I say it on my knees, old Jacob; on my knees!” And, so, shouting at the top of his lungs as he leans out a window to those below: “Merry Christmas!”
