Got Rocks Joe Stonewalls Pentagon Rebuild

As President Biden urges billions in new military funding for Ukraine, Israel & Taiwan, he’s proposing to SHRINK the Pentagon’s budget via a paltry 1% hike that wouldn’t offset the year’s inflation.

The President’s $850 billion request for the US military in 2025 is the fourth in a row for his Administration. Not that the above-mentioned foreign military aid isn’t needed or that the US’s NATO money pit Joe strongly defends is going to turn into a financial black hole under his watch … YET ... As the WSJ editorial board put it, Biden’s miserly Pentagon budget puts “American defenses on a diet.” It can only mean he’s clearly ok with “the armed forces in a state of managed decline” rather than being rebuilt (as Trump proposed) to meet today’s proliferating threats from terrorists as well as Russia, China, Iran & North Korea.

The consequences are mind-bending as the US armed forces … Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Space Force & Coast Guard … are woefully ill-equipped & manned. The WSJ editors suggests Congress step in & remind the “Commander in Chief” of his “most important obligation” aka “providing for the nation’s defense.” The problem, of course, is that Congress has seldom been better at seeing the forest from the trees than the President.
