Gov Ian New Some Thing We Don’t Know?

Do Californians REALLY LIKE unnecessarily paying 30% more for gas WITHOUT SIGNIFICANT GLOBAL WARMING BENEFIT PROVEN thanks to Gov. Moonbeam II’s green policies? Should folks in DC Swamp be EAGER to pay same toll?

As the WSJ recently noted: “Cash-strapped Americans have received relief from falling gas prices … but not Californians. Average gas price in the Golden State this week surged to $6.29 a gallon -- $2.50 more than the national average – and the reasons are worth distilling since Gov. Gavin Newsom wants to export state’s energy policies nationwide.”

Ridiculously high taxes is one reason cited for the California gas gouge. But, Newsom’s insistence on extreme climate regulations is another as they are “causing refineries to shut down or convert to producing biofuels that are more profitable because of rich government subsidies.” Meanwhile, if climate alarmists in the MSM are to be believed, global warming is worse than ever & supposedly responsible for Hurricane Ian. But, even progressive government meteorologists are disputing that take. The WSJ concluded: “Mr. Newsom is making the rounds trying to raise his national profile of late with a 2024 presidential run in mind. He’s boasting about his climate policies, though not about the high costs & shortages that go with them. He won’t get away with that if he goes national …”
