Gov Moonbeam II’s Recall As Likely As San Diego Snow?

Most centrists aka middle America are cynical about reversing election results by draconian means like impeachment, i.e., unless “high crimes” like treason are proven. But, stupidity or naivity as a valid reason? At least, with a “recall” like the one playing out against California’s Gavin Newsom aka “Governor Moonbeam II,” the voters & not pols get to use the hook maneuver.

Yet, how often do ANY such post-election efforts work throughout all of history? (Rest assured, the Dems’ umpteenth attempt to impeach President Trump is going nowhere.) Yet, we are told by Fox News that the recall campaign vs Democratic Gov. Newsom is “heating up” as his “approval ratings plummet” over his over the top coronavirus lockdowns. Should Gov. Moonbeam II be worried? How deep is his tanking? A Berkeley Institute survey of 10K voters says Newsom’s approval rating is 46% compared to 64% just last September. That’s a pretty deep tank to slip into, folks.

Not to worry though. Noted Fox: “Despite the attention surrounding the push to recall Newsom from office, only 36% of California voters said they support the effort – the overwhelming majority of which identified as Republicans.” Wake me when Newsom is recalled and San Diego is buried in a foot of snow.
