Grin & Bear It: CNN’s Stelter Stuffed

CNN took one small step for Old School Journalism & a giant leap toward re-establishing its cruddy credibility by firing Brian Stelter & yanking his sorry excuse for a news show, Un”Reliable Sources,” from the airwaves.

As Fox News noted, “major changes were expected at CNN when longtime TV exec Chris Licht took over” and promised to restore the networks reputation trashed in recent years by such opinionated, biased & conflicted anchors as the now-defunct Chris Cuomo Brother of You Know Who. CNN’s corporate parent CEO, David Zaslav, had earlier “suggested” CNN revert to “nonpartisan journalism”. Awesome idea. The recent sudden exit of Jeffrey “The Live Masturbator” Toobin was apparently the opening salvo by the new Chris. Less than a week later, Stelter aka “The Janitor” for liberal ideology, is gone as well.

Fox summarized it this way, perhaps too kindly: “Effectively miscast as a political pundit in the wild Donald Trump era – he went all in on Russiagate, fawned over Andrew Cuomo’s coronavirus response, and once memorably played clean-up for race hoaxer Jussie Smollett.” But, dang it, we will miss Stelter’s patented silly grins & grimaces…
