Gutfeld’s Gut Reaction On MSM A Wrap

I once hosted a weekly public service news & issues show ala McLaughlin Group called “Gut Reaction” that prided self on old school journalistic standards. Who’d a thunk Blood ‘n Guts Gutfeld would carry the torch calling out today’s “lying lefty hacks”?

The Fox opinion show anchor focused on The Wrap’s “entertainment” writer, Jeremy Bailey, for supposedly “breaking a major story about a famous co-anchor [i.e., Gutfeld] saying something shockingly disgusting to a co-anchor [i.e., calling Dana Perino a “little lady.”] As Gutfeld would note: “Now, you think that I just told Dana to take off her shoes & get in the kitchen where she belongs, which, by the way, is what I say to Jesse [Waters] every day. But apparently the writer was shocked at Dana’s response, which he described as, quote, ‘unfazed.’ Yes, unfazed, like she’s a war reporter, continuing a live [report] while bombs are raining down. So, what was she supposed to do, fly into a rage, slap me across the face, even when she knows how much I like that?”

Gutfeld DID get to his point: “What a perfect microcosm of the current journalism landscape. People who don’t know what they’re talking about try to create a scandal off a single throwaway line. That’s journalism. But it’s not just them. Yahoo News reprinted this story & I know what you’re thinking. What’s Yahoo News? But there’s a whole ecosystem of stupid lefty takes …” Greg goes on. But, what he didn’t admit is that he may have unwittingly ripped off my ALMOST exact words back in the day when the popular “Gut Reaction” aired over suburban Chicago AND I WAS ALREADY WARNING THE WORLD ABOUT THE DECLINE IN OLD SCHOOL JOURNALISM AND HOW IT WAS GONNA GET WORSE.
