Hamas Hostage Outrage “Taken” 4 Granted

The op ed headline read “Hamas Executes Six Hostages, Including American” as protesters demand Israel give in to terrorist demand for permanent cease fire. Might headline have read “US Weakness Helped Hostage Taking Now, In Future”?

So, the related WSJ coverage told of how Tel Aviv streets swarmed with those essentially demanding PM Netanyahu give Hamas whatever it wants to get its remaining captives back before they, too, are executed. But, the unavoidable irony from this Catch 22 view from state-side suggests that it was Joe Biden waffling (and withholding of needed weaponry) over Israel’s original intention of invading Gaza to rid it of Hamas control once & for all … that made these latest (and future) outrages by the terrorists inevitable.

Slice it any way you want, but Hamas has & will continue to play Israel & the US ally like a squeaky fiddle … and continue to hostage take … so long it pays for them to do so thanks to US weakness & Israel’s reluctance to go it alone.
