He’s Back. Fauci Says Mask Up, Shut Up?

So, maybe retiring, oft-criticized Dr. Fauci vented at Americans’ “inexplicable” opposition to forced masking? What’s inexplicable maybe is Fauci’s apparent inability to grasp the HARM his lockdown mentality may’ve caused…

President Biden’s chief medical advisor who recently said he’s maybe going to retire soon since the GOP seems out to get him or something along those lines, now told an audience Americans should be thankful for his past insistence upon forced masking and vaccine policies; and they should forget their worrying that lockdown mentality could be a violation of their civil liberties. “What world are we living in?” he wondered. “Inexplicable!” he added with a shake of the head.

Fair enough. But, mind you, talking to Dr. Fauci can be like talking to the doctor over goulash in “My Dinner With Andre” who marvels at a cancer patient’s improving bed sore while irrepressibly dying ugly. Since the Covid pandemic began and he began issuing oft-vague, sometimes contradictory advice to Americans, Dr. Fauci still doesn’t seem to want to talk about the HARM his advice maybe could have also triggered. In the WSJ’s “How the Covid-19 Pandemic Changed Americans’ Health for the Worse” we get some idea. “Heart disease & drug overdoses are among afflictions exacting a higher toll than before,” we’re told. If only Dr. Fauci would shed some light on this travesty before he heads into the sunset & away from the Congressional investigations he seems to worry about … & why under his & Biden’s watch, more Americans died of Covid than under Trump.
