Hegseth Say’s ‘No Mas’ To Elite Harvard

Fox's Hegseth vowed to send back his Harvard degree for allegedly "poisoning" young minds with hateful woke theories. In Biblical terms, is he saying the elite U has turned God’s Garden of Eden into hell on earth?

On a recent show, the disillusioned “Fox & Friends” co-host went so far as writing “return to sender” on his Harvard diploma. And,in his recent book “American Crusade,” Hegseth urged Americans to “Stop supporting your alma mater!” Sounds like a cancel culture move for an anti-cancel culture guy? Do desperate times call for such drastic measures? He elaborated, if not ranted: “I think [Harvard] should be re-named ‘Critical Theory’ … Every single department has a critical theory department … People will say ‘this is a stunt, you still have a degree’ and that’s fine. I went, I got the degree, I walked to the classes and all that [Vini, Vidi, Vici], but I hope this is a statement that as conservatives & patriots, if we love this country, we can’t keep sending our kids [and money] and elevating them to universities that are poisoning their mind. I may have survived it … that kind of thinking …”

I can grasp, if not endorse, today’s parents playing the elitist game by paying astronomical sums for elitist school tuition so the kids can get a leg up on that great job in the sky. But, like Hegseth, I also never understood why they keep forking over the moola after they got that piece of paper even the kids won’t use to train their new puppy, i.e., after they join the real world, get a spouse, kids, credit card debt up the wazzoo, 30-yr mortgage & insane local, state & federal tax bills.
