Higher Heating Bills On Biden’s Own No Brain Trust?

Just got a 20% heating bill increase as Biden blamed gas industry for our runaway inflation … after he declared war on it. WSJ: It’s another “diversion” as Joe “sends the FTC posse to chase wrong suspects” aka his own no brain trust & green activists.

Explained the editors: “President Biden is feeling political pressure to show that he’s doing something about rising energy costs even as his Administration’s policies are a big part of the problem. Ergo, round up the usual fossil-fuel suspects.” In fact, Mr. Biden’s letter to FTC Chair Lina Khan speaks of an unspecified “mounting evidence” of “anti-consumer” behavior & profiteering by big oil while urging her agency to kick their butts IF it can “uncover any wrongdoing.”

Reminded the WSJ: “Large producers like Exxon & Chevron are generating hefty profits because they have scaled back investment in new production due to pressure from [Joe’s] green investors.” In addition, the editors noted, “He can blame in part the renewable fuel standard, aka ethanol mandate, which his Administration is working to ramp up.” Then, there’s the pipeline shutdowns & other “policies that raise the cost of domestic production. “Perhaps Ms. Khan should investigate the collusion among Democratic pols, regulators & green investors …”
