Homeless Fentanyl Man Stays Put In F****** Nice SF
A Bay area town, Richmond, is now paying homeowners via a privately funded program to “house” the homeless & it’s arguably a retread of old progressive theme to perpetuate, not solve, the root problem, as even a SF miserable “claims city practically pays him to be homeless.”
The bearded man in SF with tattooed forehead & filthy t-shirt says in a Twitter post: “If you’re going to be homeless – it’s pretty f****** easy here.” The man says he feels the police are like his “neighbors” & assures he’s staying homeless “by choice … I mean, if we’re going to be realistic, they pay you to be homeless here.” Fox says he admits to being a fentanyl “buyer and seller.”
Author Michael Shellenberger, a guest commentator who interviewed “hundreds of homeless across the country,” estimated this man talking in the video gets $620 a month in cash welfare as well as $200 a month in food stamps. He essentially gets free medical care, e.g., if overdosing, via Medicaid. Not a pretty let alone lucrative life style. Yet, as the man says, he’ll stick around for however long he’s got it “pretty f****** easy …”
