Humble Trump Could Stomp Bumble Biden

WSJ opines “character is revealed in a crisis & Trump utterly failed his” on Jan 6 by not “telling his supporters to stop, even as their rioting raged.” A 2bling down Trump yet to learn a “strong” man is a “humble” man?

“No matter your views of the [one-sided] Jan. 6 special committee,” the editors begin, “the facts it is laying out in hearings are sobering”, especially the latest accusations that No. 45 “sat watching TV, posting inflammatory tweets & refusing to send help.” Even in a belated Tweet, Mr. Trump accused VP Pence of not having the “courage” to stop the electoral count by Congress, then, finally at the proverbial 11th hour Tweeted again for his rampaging followers to “Stay peaceful!” To boot: In the 18 months since, Mr. Trump has shown not an iota of regret.”

Perhaps THAT is the real crux of Mr. Trump’s alleged character shortcoming. As the WSJ noted in conclusion: “On Thursday, he claimed to be vindicated by a bill to clarify the Electoral Count Act. ‘Mike Pence told me, and everybody else, there was nothing he could do,’ Mr. Trump wrote. ‘If so, how come the Democrats & RINOs are working so hard to make sure there is nothing a VP can do [?]’” Well, maybe it’s because Jan 6 was the first time in history, in which a sitting President argued with his VP & nearly every credible constitutional expert on the planet about whether there was anything he could do besides make an a** of himself. It’s ok to be wrong, Donald, to swallow one’s pride for the sake of the country. Think HOW MANY TIMES JOE’S BEEN PITIFULLY MIA on nearly every major issue confronting the nation IN THE PAST 4 DECADES and people still forgive him, at least, until the November mid-terms and 2024.
