Hunter’s Baldwin Finger Pointing Strategy

Kim Strassel suggests there’s stupid & then there’s stupid as she writes about Hunter Biden having his attys demand critics of his scandalous laptop be investigated by Dad’s DOJ & IRS, the laptop he & Dad said were fake.

Talk about putting accelerant on a flaming White House nightmare or pointing a loaded PR weapon at one’s own father as if a clueless Alec Baldwin. The WSJ columnist summarized the latest from Son of Joe this way: “Hunter Biden did some reckless things, is unhappy people found out & so is now doing something equally reckless. Oh, and by the way, that laptop really is his. That’s the news out of a batch of letters sent this week by Hunter’s attorneys. They are demanding federal & state prosecutors & IRS launch investigations into those involved with distributing the contents of “Mr. Biden’s files” from his infamous laptop.” As Strassel notes, “The complaints are in fact an extraordinary admission that Hunter – and his father, President Joe Biden – have misled the country for years” about it being faked & part of another Russian misinformation campaign.

As Kim concludes: This latest sniveling to the DOJ & IRS “is about as ill-considered as every other Hunter move – from trading on his family name to engaging in suspicious art sales.” But, the even bigger stupid thing about this attempt to get Hunter’s critics jailed after the more investigations envisioned, albeit by supposedly “friendly” bureaucrats, is that the failed Baldwin finger-pointing strategy can’t help but FURTHER dig up evidence in various courts showing the laptop was all Hunter & that the referenced “big guy” was likely in the know all along.
