If Biden Could Count He’d Know USA Ain’t Spelled USSR
The WSJ’s piece on the President ’s address to Congress was titled, “Biden’s Cradle-to-Grave Government” might have been, “Sad, Stupid & Self-Defeating.” As the editors argued, “His latest $1.8 trillion ‘American Families’ plan rejects the old social contract of work for benefits” and piles even more debt on future generations.
As always, Joe blows smoke better than a hippie in a SF coffee house. He’s spent a career spouting big promises and saying as little as possible; that’s how he became POTUS. But, as the WSJ noted, Joe “will tell you sometime later, after you’re hooked to the state, how it will force you to pay for it.” Correction, WSJ. When that time comes, Joe will come up with yet more BS couched in shinola. Continued the exasperated editors:
“We’d call the price tag breathtaking, but by now what’s another $2 trillion? Add $2 trillion or so each for the Covid & green energy (“infrastructure”) bills, and that’s $6 trillion of new spending in 100 days. That doesn’t include the regular federal budget of more than $4 trillion a year. No worries, mate, the Federal Reserve will monetize the debt.” One more correction, WSJ. When that time comes, Joe will have subtly changed USA to USSR.
