Imagine ICC Charging Biden, Putin & Z

The ICC “disgraced itself” when its prosecutors requested arrest warrants for Israel’s PM & defense minister as well as three Hamas leaders who boast about being responsible for that unprovoked Oct. 7 slaughter of 1,200 innocents.

That was the opinion of the WSJ’s editorial board while noting, “The ICC has lost sight of the crucial distinction between the death squad & the bomber pilot, on which the possibility of just war depends.” Even more to the moment, if not point, “On one side are Israel’s democratic leaders, waging war to reclaim hostages & root out terrorists in Gaza. On the other side is Hamas, which precipitated the war with its mass murder, rape & kidnapping on Oct. 7 and whose officials pledge to do it ‘again & again.'”

Agreed, too, “Lumping them together is a slander for the history books. Imagine some international body prosecuting Tojo & Roosevelt, or Hitler & Churchill, amid WW II.” Or, how about Putin & Zelensky (&, depending on the public opinion polls, sometimes Biden) who are battling it out viciously in Ukraine? We can only imagine.
