Independents Ruled 2020 & Will Decide 2024, Capisce?

The WSJ recently urged President Trump to stop saying his re-election was “stolen” & its readers clearly signaled No. 45 should “Knock It Off” if he wants their vote to regain the WH. But, the usual “he’s undermining democracy” arguments articulated by both editors & readers may be besides the point as much as Mr. Trump’s “let me count the ways they undermined the election” complaints are.

How so? Most credible pollsters agree that Independents determined in 2020 who is now haunting the Lincoln bedroom & will do so again in 2024. Hint: Since President Biden is proving to be a worse orator than even the tweeting Mr. Trump let alone anyone since Warren G. Harding, most Independents now mostly care only about the issues, not so much anyone’s verbal skills or past political gamesmanship.

Put another way, under current aka No. 46’s watch: They are paying attention to the never-ending pandemic mandates they see, the implications of a radicalized educational system, the chaos engulfing the open southern border, rampant crime in our inner cities while police are defunded, growing homelessness & addictions everywhere, rising inflation, supply chain fiascoes & looming terrorist threats from abroad. Is that so hard to capisce?
