Is Global Warming Gored By Alarmists?

Career pol turned climatologist Al Gore predicted End of Times many times but don’t such doomsayers hurt a balanced, reasoned approach to addressing earth’s forever changing climate & tactics all can live with?

At least, so suggests the Fox News story titled, “Eight years? Nine years? Six years ago? A climate change activist guide to doomsday – the end is going to come soon, unless it doesn’t’…” Al Gore is the obvious whipping boy, the story notes, because his Armageddon “rhetoric is [being dusted off and again] coming not only from progressive activists but also Democrats on Capitol Hill. Lawmakers, in particular, have intensified their doomsday predictions as hopes for a climate change deal have waned within the Senate in recent days while inflation reaches a 40 yr high.” Of course, the chances for another trillion-dollar spend of taxpayers’ money are waning, this time, on more Green New Deal initiatives, largely because the alarmists’ talking points can’t possibly match what we see with our eyes or provide convincing evidence to many that throwing money at Mother Earth is going to stop her boiling blood, at least, if India, China, Russia and the Third World keep spewing fossil fuel emissions at our expense …

According to Fox, “critics note doom & gloom is nothing new,” arguing it’s part of a long-running strategy that sees proponents of combating climate change lay out alarming predictions of global catastrophe.” Besides Sanders yelling “people are dying”, Concordia U is latest to create a “Climate Clock” that now says mankind has less than 7 yrs to “avert disaster by limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius” … as if that’s possible no matter what Congress does in 2022. If only we’d be inundated by more serious study & debate rather than emotion, maybe we’d all get on the same page.
