Joe’s Saving Grace Is World Hasn’t Blown Up Yet

Russia-Ukraine War shows “Biden’s promise to restore world order [has] collapsed as global chaos reigns, says Fox’s Peter Hanson. What a difference a year makes as Mr. Biden spent the weekend biding his time at Delaware home while Ukranians desperately hold on to their capital & Putin reminds he can play the nuke card ...

“The way candidate Joe Biden told it on the campaign trail,” Mr. Hanson wrote, “things were simple: elect him president & the world order would return to one in which America was not to be crossed. As Joe’s website boldly stated: ‘The world does not organize itself. American leadership, is necessary to effectively address the defining global challenges of our time … [and] … in order to lead again, we must restore our credibility & influence. From day one of a Biden administration, other countries will once again have reason to trust & respect the word of an American president.’” As for Russia, that Evil Empire, the Dem candidate assured: “Vladimir Putin doesn’t want me to be President. He doesn’t want me to be our nominee. If you’re wondering why – it’s because I’m the only person in this field who’s ever gone toe-to-toe with him.”

The oft-exaggerating Joe might have once gone toe to toe with Vladimir in an Arthur Murray Studio maybe, but as Mr. Hanson notes: “Just over 13 months since President Biden took office, the post-Cold War world is on the verge of crumbling altogether.” Please, don’t remind us of the Afghanistan withdrawal fiasco or stalled Iranian nuke talks. But for a heroic defense by Ukrainians of their homeland, Russia is invading with China’s blessing. And, China itself is licking its chops at a Taiwan takeover ... with new partner Russia’s support. Meanwhile, as Joe wages war on fossil fuels in America, Vladimir is selling millions of tons of the stuff to Western Europe, India and China. Promises made, promises broken?
