Judge Jackson To Be Politely Grilled On Progressive Views?

Senate confirmation hearings for Ketanji Brown Jackson have begun amid GOP concerns about her past progressive views & decisions on abortion, child porn, street crime, immigration & court packing & even as Reps promise not to turn hearings into another Dem Circus. But, should they shine a light on what some suspect is a clown act & despite her opening statement most notable for smiling assurances of "love" of country & precedent ala Trump appointed Amy Conan Barrett?

You knew the Dems were worried when Illinois Sen Richard “Dick” Durbin was reportedly begging Republican colleagues NOT to do unto Judge Jackson what HE DID to Justice Kavanaugh. Mitch McConnell assured Dick that GOP Qs would focus on “substance” and not personalities let alone bogus personal smears, never mind her alarming number of reversals by appellate courts for supposedly NOT following precedents.

Still, from the various news reports surfacing since Mr. Biden made his nomination, there are several obvious more Qs that Judge Jackson will be confronted with based on her past utterances or writings, including: Do you believe ala CRT the American Revolution was fought to save slavery? Do you believe late term abortions are valid under the Constitution? How lenient should judges be on sentencing child porn offenders? Do you believe those accused of violent crimes & a likely danger to society have a right to be free with or without bail until quickly tried? Do you believe in open borders under our current immigration laws? Do you believe packing the Supreme Court without a Constitutional Amendment is legitimate? Good luck, Judge. Just honk when you want to avoid these queries.
