Kamala Walzes Left Of Bernie Sanders

Even many Democrats & MSM allies are complaining the “old” ditsy Kamala Harris is back after choosing Minn. Gov Walz as her running mate that arguably casts her proposed Administration LEFT of socialist Bernie Sanders. Some unifier, huh?

Perhaps the WSJ’s James Freeman articulated best just how Ms. Harris & Mr. Walz are two birds of the same feather in his “Harris Running Mate Teases His Own Project 2025: Socialism.” Not that Walz isn’t a proven attack dog, Freeman concedes, having urged partisan allies about the need for being “ruthless” in imposing their Bigger than Ever Government with bigger than ever socialist ideas. Yet, worries the columnist, “The disturbing recent history of Mr. Walz is that he has wanted the government to take whatever it can once his party gained control of both state legislative chambers in 2022.” And, he’s doing it with a sharp, if misleading wit, e.g., recently extolling the virtues of “neighborly socialism.” Opined Freeman: “The history of the last century says that there is nothing more dangerous than ruthless politicians who paint a friendly face on socialism.”

But, let’s get to the devil’s details, shall we? Freeman obliges in reminding that “Tim Walz’s Minnesota imposes high tax burdens on individual income, corporate income, sales & property. Spending has surged during his governorship.” As a result, Walz turned off many Minnesota moderates, narrowly winning re-election by a smaller margin than when he first got elected. Concluded Freeman: “Voters nationwide now have limited time to study Mr. Walz & understand the threat to American prosperity he represents. Kamala Harris has no excuse for this pick. She remains as radical as her record.”
