Katz’s Hollywood Joe Show Best No Show?

Reuters story tilted, “Jeffrey Katzenberg’s Very Hollywood Advice for ‘Ol Joe Biden” is based on the wild popularity of old-time actors in super-hero flicks. But, won’t Dicks Nix That Kids Pix cause Joe ain’t no Harrison Ford?

Escapist if not mindless superhero mania aside, we’re told entertainment mogul “Jeffrey Katzenberg brings business chops, storytelling bona fides & a Rolodex of tech & entertainment contacts to the Biden campaign” and along with it “Harrison Ford & Mick Jagger as presidential role models.” Please. Disney’s Rumpelstiltskin, maybe. Harrison or Mick? Have you seen Joe walk or talk lately? No amount of Hollywood make up or Silicon Valley AI can fix Joe’s “Neil Diamond Bad Back” or “Whoopi Goldberg’s big mouth”.

That’s not to say Mr. Biden couldn’t do well by taking Katzenberg’s overriding advice to “embrace his octogenarian age.” By all means, emphasize Joe’s “legendary wisdom”, i.e., if he can tell another convincing whopper or two that gullible progressives & Independents can swallow. But, Joe’s aviator sunglasses might have to keep getting bigger & broader to hide the growing number of wrinkles behind the cratering façade.
