Lemon Squeezes Cred Out Of Journalism

Honesty or pure arrogance as Pew survey finds majority of journalists reject idea that both sides “always deserve equal coverage”? And, oh, CNN’s Don Lemon tells peers there’s no ‘false sense of equivalency’ between GOP & Dems. Huh?

Any wonder why journalism’s credibility has reached historic lows with the general public? The CNN prime time host while appearing on “New Day” insisted he’s an independent politically, yet said journalists need not give “both sides” on political issues because Republicans “mislead” the country while Democrats are “standing up for democracy.” Well, that sweeping, obviously narcissistic statement sure is one-sided enough.

Now, I can agree with Mr. Lemon that he has an absolute right to air his opinions, that is, so long as he clearly labels them as opinions and stops pretending he’s a real REPORTER while acting like a hack.
