Lib Policies That Shed Darkness On Light

List of progressive policy chokeholds keep growing like seaweed as “Biden Gives Boost to Schoolyard Bullies” with renewed focus on Obama-era policies that encourage lax discipline & trigger rise in misbehavior?

That’s the argument made by WSJ’s Jason Riley who referenced a professor he heard speak at a recent academic conference. The speaker, we’re told, maintained that “‘antiracism’ and the policies that flow from it are a much bigger problem today than racism itself.” Observed Mr. Riley, “Some might dismiss that as observation as hyperbole, but examples keep piling up.”

For instance? Noted Riley, an African American: “Living-wage mandates price poor minorities who are desperate for employment out of jobs. Bail-reform measures make bad neighborhoods even more dangerous by going easy on repeat offenders. Affirmative-action admissions policies in higher education boost dropout rates by mismatching black students with schools in the name of diversity. Open space zoning laws, supported by environmental zealots, have limited the construction of affordable homes and thereby decimated the black population of major cities, such as San Francisco.” Oh. “It’s a long and depressing list.” For sure, Jason.
