‘Limousine Liberals’ COP26 Out Again, We Pay More

It's agreed, the environment is getting stinkier yet President Biden jetted half his cabinet to Rome, then, drove ‘em around town in another gas guzzling 85-car motorcade before jetting to the UN’s COP26 summit and we’re supposed to take that climate clique seriously? How many Germans, Brits, Italians, Russians, Chinese, Koreans, Indians, Mexicans & Brazilians you think walked or rode horses to Glasgow while Mr. Biden et al demand “average” Americans to sacrifice, consume less energy yet pay higher prices?

Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe called the Roman spectacle “a textbook example of hypocrisy from ‘limousine liberals.’” She included as other examples Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “illegally parking her “$59K” Tesla outside a Whole Foods store” as well as U.S. climate envoy John Kerry “exclusively [flying his] private” jet.

“If Democrat [politicians] actually cared about emissions,” Boothe argued, “they would look toward things like natural gas, nuclear power … but they don’t [really] care about emissions. All they care about is virtue-signaling to their other limousine liberal friends.” Apparently, Democrat Mario Procaccino “coined the term ‘limousine liberal’ in his ill-fated 1969 NYC” mayoral campaign, while author Tom Wolfe helped “popularize the insult” in his 1970 essay, ‘Radical Chic: That Party at Lenny’s’”. Meanwhile, the stinking jet-filled skies weep more toxic rain on us.
