Madame Maxwell Victimized By Smollett Defense?

Ghislaine Maxwell is going to jail for up to 66 years for being Jeff Epstein’s pimp, er, madame because she had a hamstrung lawyer who got stuck with crappy Jussie Smollett excuses & damning facts that even Clarence Darrow couldn’t have fended off.

The prosecution’s slam dunk case argued simply that Maxwell recruited & trained four underaged women between 1994 & 2004, all of whom testified that, yeah, “she done all that,” only in much more graphic detail. “Ghislaine Maxwell … manipulated her victims & groomed them,” sometimes after she & Epstein had sex via body massage a trois. And, what did the defense argue? That the feds went after Maxwell after Epstein hanged himself in a Manhattan jail cell … or, was he hung ala Smollett’s Trumpian white supremacists wearing MAGA hats in downtown blue Chicago aka “Trump Country”? In closing arguments, the defense attorney actually maintained the accused was an “innocent woman” who became the proverbial fall guy after the real bad guy was offed. And, oh, she knew nothing about Epstein’s legendary depravity with teen girls. Even Smollett’s tale about being randomly lynched while going out for a Subway sandwich in the middle of the night rang truer than that.

Yet, Ghislaine’s family wasn’t buying the jury’s unanimous guilty on 5 of 6 counts. In a statement they insisted: “We believe firmly in our sister’s innocence … and believe that she will ultimately be vindicated” on appeal. Sure. Before this is over, they may wish they had taken a plea bargain when they had a chance.
