Manchin, Sinema Teach Highway Joe Sense vs Nonsense

In Dems’ caucus, Senators Manchin & Sinema told Joe “My Way or You’re A Racist Highway” Biden he can shove his low road ploy to ending the centuries old legislative filibuster just to pass his senseless federal election bill, unless a BIPARTISAN deal.

All but admitting defeat, Joe reminded reporters “we’ll be back” since all “civil rights” reforms since 1964 took time to enact. But, ‘Ol No. 46 forgets his win at any cost demagoguery & legislative gamesman ship today would make principled JFK, LBJ, MLK and real civil rights leaders of the 60s roll over in their graves. Joe also forgets those eventual “wins” were BIPARTISAN efforts won with REASON & COMMON SENSE, NOT BRASS KNUCKLES & NONSENSE.

Rip Van Winkle even forgets his big mouth is making it more likely than ever his “we’ll be back” promise may take longer to fulfill than Jack Nicholson’s promise Johnny Carson will be back any time in the foreseeable future. As WSJ’s Peggy Noonan argued, Biden’s “divisive” election law speech in Georgia just before that Dem caucus did more to hurt than help his unjust “cause.”
