Matter O Time Be4 Joe College Ploy Nixed?

Lest we despair the injustice of Joe’s EO letting wealthy college grad borrowers off the hook, it won’t stand a legal challenge as Pelosi once admitted & GW’s Prof explains Sup Ct won’t let Congress be dissed like this.

Not that some progressive activist trial judge won’t ok what Sean Hannity suggested constituted voter bribery in the first instance, no matter how inflationary the $300 billion giveaway will also hurt the economy not to mention set a precedent for deadbeats everywhere. But, as Prof. Jonathan Turley put it mildly to Fox News, the executive order circumventing Congress would get a “chilly reception” before the Justices who would ultimately decide yeah or nay on the ploy. True, WSJ notes how some legal experts fear no one will have "standing" to challenge the Biden "abuse of power." Is there anyone in Congress will enough guts to fight for the Constitution? Funny, how progressive lawyers had no trouble finding "standing" when suing Trump over the exact same issue ...

As the Prof explained: “Well, it is a little curious … because they [Biden & Dem allies] are citing a [Covid] crisis that in May they said had diminished to the point that it would change the status of Title 42 on the southern border” imposed by then-President Trump to justify its quick deportation of illegal crossers. Yet, they now suddenly somehow blink, insisting the CDC crisis is back & justifies Biden’s EO. It’s extremely dubious to argue that … gives the president the right to basically toss aside $300 billion in student loans … Even if the administration had some success initially … the Supreme Court … has really been demanding clarity on these [Constitutional Separation of Powers] issues ... And what’s weird is that these Democratic members are applauding their own institutional obsolescence. They are giving these accolades to the president because he knows he couldn’t get this through Congress.” Exactly. So, despair not just yet, let alone hold your breath …
