Mayorkas Trumps Cruz On Incompetence

Sen Cruz indelicately says DHS chief Mayorkas is “willing to let children be raped” & would “resign” if he had “integrity.” Sen Kennedy seethes Biden appointee “truly believes in an open border.” Mayorkas simply deadpans like a Mayan statue.

In a recent Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on border security, Fox News reports the Texas Senator“ minced few words in making mincemeat of the nation’s top Swamp rat who’s supposedly responsible for keeping America safe: “Mr. Secretary,” Cruz began politely, “I want to say to you right now, your behavior is disgraceful. And the deaths, the children assaulted, the children raped, they are at your feet … The men & women of the Border Patrol, they’ve never had a political leader undermine them. They despise you, Mr. Secretary, because you’re willing to let children be raped to follow political orders. This is a crisis. It’s a disgrace. And, you won’t even admit this human tragedy as it is, i.e., a crisis.”

While Mr. Mayorkas insisted his handling of the border whatever was quite stellar, Cruz’s blistering take notwithstanding, he DID admit to not knowing why some border migrants were wearing wristbands. “If you go to the southern border,” Cruz explained between gags, “you’d see thousands of these wristbands” on the migrants’ arms, which are color coded to reflect “how many thousands of dollars they owe the cartels.” Concluded the Senator: “You have turned these cartels into multibillion-dollar organizations.” Well, Senator, Mr. Mayorkas might remind you the Mexican cartels were already multibillion dollar organizations when he & Joe took over from their favorite whipping boy, Mr. Trump.
