Mother’s Day 2022 Reminds We’re One Flesh

On Mother’s Day 2022 it’s may be distressing how much women have had to fight for equal rights while some fight to end their unborn but alive babies YET the Bible’s eternally happy message reminds we are all ONE FLESH.

Anyway, that’s the message my wife and I got upon re-reading Genesis leading up to this year’s maternal holiday. Yeah, God made Eve out of Adam’s rib and it was Eve who encouraged Adam to shoot himself in the foot by eating the forbidden fruit. So the story goes …

Yet, too often maybe we forget the root of the lesson to be learned. That BOTH man and woman share the same fate and that they were meant to be ONE FLESH, partners in life unto death.
