MSM Dukes BYU Fan In Fake Slur?

Yet another example of why it’s impo not to rush to judgement is CNN, ABC & ESPN promoting Duke volleyball player’s alleged racial slur story but then go radio silent as emerging details may debunk claim.

Maybe the nasty encounter during a BYU-Duke game that captured attention of the ever-cynical MSM really happened. Yet, as Fox News reports, “witnesses and footage from ongoing investigations [of a special needs man who got ejected & banned for life] undermine [black player] Rachel Richardson’s claims.” Supposedly, Duke’s Richardson’s claim “went viral”. The claim: Some fan hurled the n-word at her “throughout the entirety of the match” between the 2 schools on August 26.” The problem: “… her claim was never corroborated.

In fact, it was discredited. Huh? The left-leaning MSM went berserk on the accused BYU fan who turned out to be a Utah Valley U student. Don’t tell ESPN’s Steven A. who showed outrage at how inexcusably “slow” BYU was in “responding” to the racial outrage. Yet, BYU’s police would later tell the Salt Lake Tribune after reviewing surveillance camera footage “we did not observe that behavior” from the fan. Moreover, not a single person from the surrounding student section crowd has so far come forward to back up Richardson’s claim. The Deseret News interviewed a BYU police officer present & he simply thought the suspected fan had “special needs” & kept complaining about players hitting the ball into the net rather than over it. BYU athletics staffers also reviewing camera footage can’t see or hear any slurs. And, on Friday, BYU completed its investigation & found NO EVIDENCE to support the allegations -- the ban on the banned fan was lifted, too. Might the MSM have documented the Duke player's accusations before they again appear to have jumped the gun?
