MSM Ignoring Iran’s Trump Threat?

One of the more curious news reports came when US spy agencies said Iran is working to undercut Trump in our 2024 presidential election, then, BOOM, the sound of silence from MSM is deafening. What? Tired of their “Russia-gate” fiasco?

The WSJ story had revealed that US intel officials had revealed “Iran is seeking to harm Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in covert online influence operations, fearing a return to power by the Republican nominee would inflame relations with Washington.” Sound familiar? Only in reverse from 4+ years earlier when our top spy geniuses supposedly worried about Trump sleeping with Putin? Yet, the prima facia blockbuster story hasn’t been followed up much by the Journal let alone other media outlets. Then, came the “other” blockbuster report by federal law enforcement officials warning of an Iranian plot to kill the former president. Then, came the assassination attempt by a 20-year-old in Butler, Pa. But, it wasn’t until Fox News recently reported that the “experts” are wondering about the encrypted communications Thomas Matthew Crooks was having prior to his shooting up the Trump rally. They haven’t been able to crack the messaging with whoever, if anyone.

Fox reports the feds & GOP pols are “skeptical of any connection between Crooks & Iran. Said Sen. Lindsay Graham during recent hearings, “If he [Crooks] were talking to some foreign power, and I don’t think any foreign power would hire this guy … but if this was some great plot by the Iranians, how would we solve this?” FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate basically replied, “I dunno. Give us the tools to easily crack these encryptions via backdoor access like we’ve been asking for years.” Maybe the real Q is whether anyone in the MSM, let alone Swamp, cares when Trump happens to be Iran’s target?
