Nation, Biden Can’t Tempt Trump’s Fate Again

WSJ’s op ed “Donald Trump in the Cross-Hairs Again” unequivocally stated the obvious: “A second apparent assassination attempt calls for Biden-level protection for the former President” & is another warning about our “deranged politics.”

You think? Yet, wasn’t this clear from the first near miss of Mr. Trump’s brain from just a few yards away as understaffed Secret Service agents proverbially sucked their thumbs, and only then returned deadly fire upon the shooter? Again questions go unanswered, the editors wax. One is “how [the latest AK owner] knew Mr. Trump would be golfing on Sunday at that course & how he knew where he could set up to target the former President? All the more so after 20-yr-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was allowed to shoot at Mr. Trump from a rooftop about 400 ft from where the former President was on stage in Butler, Pa.”

Still, the current administration led by President Joe Biden & VP Dem candidate Kamala Harris (as well as former Speaker Nancy Pelosi) issue meaningless press releases or posts about not being in favor of “political violence.” No s***, Sherlock. As the editors point out to even the dimwitted, “We already know that Mr. Trump has been targeted by Iran … Any harm that comes to either nominee, but especially to Mr. Trump after two failed attempts, would lead to conspiracy theories that could lead to further violence. The country, and President Biden, can’t afford to tempt fate again.”
