Never Trump Cheney Trounced ala Lincoln?

Never-Trumper Liz Daughter of Cheney gets trounced by nearly 40% points in GOP Wyoming primary & she insists she’s like “Lincoln” who might run for president still? Talk about elite ruling class delusion?

As the WSJ noted by way of understatement for the ages, “The race wasn’t close.” No, it wasn’t as Harriet Hageman, a natural-resources attorney who was endorsed by Trump, won over 66% of the vote to Cheney’s 29%. It maybe was ok for the war hawk to continue ex-VP & dad Dick Cheney’s endless wars legacy while a 3-term Congresswoman. Anyone can get that. But, then, pretty much dedicating herself in Congress to fighting the supposedly “evil” No. 45 by joining a Democratic majority in conducting a one-sided televised production to discredit the former POTUS was not only “unDemocratic” but “unLincolnian.” The Wyoming GOP voters saw through Cheney’s egotistical “two wrongs can make a right” revenge play by naively if not vindictively getting in bed with what many of her colleagues were calling the real devils. Whatever.

What's pathetic about Cheney’s “concession” speech claiming she just might make a comeback ala a once-defeated Lincoln: Nationally, as the Dems toss her aside into their dust bin of used up Never-Trumpers once they are no longer useful, she’d likely get even a worse shellacking, should she run for president as she “considers the option.”
