North Korea Shortages Starving A Starving Nation

You think the USA has a holiday “distribution” problem when North Korea asked its starving citizens to eat less as food shortages are expected to continue?

How long is the extreme socialistic Communist nation in for it? Fox News quotes government sources at pegging its “food emergency” to continue “at least until 2025.” The Holocaust victims were forced to accept ever-smaller portions of life-sustaining food for about that same period and we know how many succumbed. Radio Free Asia quoted folks as worrying they are not sure they can “make it through the coming winter” let alone 2025.

The main cog in dictator Kim Jong Un’s machine, we’re told, “has resulted from a shutdown of its border with China” imposed by the two Communist countries to “slow the spread” of Covid-19. US sanctions for developing nuclear weapons is another oft-cited excuse. Meanwhile, North Korea’s “devastated” economy is the victim of spiraling food prices. BTW, the UN says 40% of North Korea’s population is “undernourished” to begin with. Isn’t this one of those times one wouldn’t wish this fate on a worst enemy?
