Oh No! Democrats Created No Tax Tesla

You can’t make this up. Dems are raging at Musk for his Tesla paying little or no income tax when, DUH, it’s because the Dems’ Green New Deal tax provisions gave umpteen energy breaks & incentives to EV makers.

The WSJ explained the inexplicable this way: “Now that Republicans in Congress are getting their act together to extend the 2017 (Trump No. 45) tax reforms, Democrats are trying to make examples of businesses that pay little or no tax. Their latest target is Elon Musk’s Tesla, insinuating that the billionaire CEO is getting special treatment from Donald Trump. Tesla gets special treatment, all right, except it’s from government mandates and tax breaks the Democrats created.”

Yet, how many times do we have to suffer through Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s ranting about how, “American taxpayers will shoulder the burden of tax cuts for Tesla, and they deserve answers about your efforts to secure massive tax breaks for billionaire corporations.” She especially cites a study by the left-leaning Institute of Taxation & Economic Policy, which supposedly shows “Tesla paid no federal income tax last year and only $48 million over the last three years …” Double Duh. Even Pocahontas should realize that the Democrats controlled the White House and Congress most of the last four years. And, during that time, they rammed through the Swamp its Green New boondoggles. So to answer her question, “Please, just look in the mirror.”
