Pelosi Coolly Sits On Justice Safety, Brains

Is there any limit to Pelosi’s political gamesmanship? Apparently not. “The Supreme Court Police Parity Act [already passed in the Senate] has been languishing in the House” and even Illinois’ Dem Sen. Dick Durbin says he’s ‘very much’ concerned about the delay. Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell was right on Wednesday to call on Speaker Pelosi & House Dems to pass the bill immediately.” Hello. It should have been passed LONG ago as did the Senate, e.g., immediately after Sec Liz was seen screaming outside of the Supreme Court in protest of that “leaked” draft opinion suggesting Roe v Wade was to be overturned as unconstitutional and Sen. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer promised Justices, especially Gorsuch & Kavanaugh, would “reap the whirlwind” if they dared go through with you know what.

As the WSJ editors concluded the obvious: “If America is more polarized than at any point since the Civil War, as progressives often claim, then the political class needs to take the risk of violence more seriously.” And, not play politics as usual, at least, this once & before it’s too late.
