Rather than Pres Biden getting credit for some ingenious turnaround in his leadership skills, isn’t this latest popularity poll a snap shot of the changing “herd” mentality kicking in as it typically does in the lead up to any election? Aren’t the Dems naturally starting to “rally” around their doddering leader, while the out of work Republicans are digging in & Indies wish both would shut up?

Yet, Axios, The Hill, etc can’t help but headline how “Biden’s approval ratings rebounds ahead of midterms.” They marvel how 45% of Americans now suddenly “approve of his job performance” and suggest it’s a “momentum” building harbinger of success in the November mid-term elections, even though it’s conceded “Biden’s handling of the economy and inflation still remains low.” No kidding. While 78% of surveyed Dems now approve of their Albatross in the WH, what’s perhaps more telling is that only “36% of independents and 10% of Republicans” agree. So, doing the math, 64% or independents and 90% of Republicans still think Joe blows?
