PRC’s Nuclear Build Up & Our “New Normal Weakness”

WSJ wonders why “US Pushes Arms-Control Talks as China Ups Nuclear Arsenal” ... yet it doesn’t take a Napoleon to understand why this PRC build up is happening as Xi sees our Pentagon directed by Afghan Biden’s quivering thumb.

Yet, we’re told of bewilderment in The Swamp over “concerns that Beijing is developing hypersonic missiles & building nuclear silos have sparked alarm in Washington.” Another “summit” between Biden & Xi to discuss China’s suddenly inflated nuclear arsenal is, therefore, in the works. Explained Zhao Tong, a Beijing-based Carnegie nuclear arms expert: “At the basic level, the US wants to understand what’s going on in China & what’s the basic motivation behind China’s expansion.”

Huh? Did Mr. Tong or anyone in the DC Swamp watch the fiasco of Mr. Biden’s Afghan exit as did Mr. Xi & every other dictator in the world? Maybe only a fool would not take advantage of the US’s “new normal weakness” under No. 46?
