Quaid’s Bada** Meme A Trump or Biden?

Dennis Quaid says he always felt inspired by his favorite president, Ronald Reagan. Unlike Reagan who first became famous for playing the “Gipper” in “Knute Rockne All American,” Quaid’s upcoming biop praises No. 40 for being B“bada**”.

Perhaps in his podcast interview with psychologist Jordan Peterson, Mr. Quaid was subconsciously comparing Reagan to Trump & Biden. Let’s leave it to your imagination as to which recent president he’d most likely nickname as “bada88”, although both Trump & Biden would say “MEME.” Quaid did say that GOP President Reagan’s 8 years in office remind him of the climate in today’s America. He said the chaos in the US under Reagan’s predecessor, Jimmy Carter, was as depressing as it can get. Runaway inflation. Americans held hostage by Iranians. No respect from other dictators overseas. Further explained Quaid per Fox News: “Carter had his malaise speech. The country had lost confidence in itself about who we are. We kind of accepted that we were a nation in decline. It was after Watergate., it was after Vietnam.”

Perhaps most depressing to the actor, was how Carter tried to “play nice” with the Soviet Union & appease them, getting nothing in return as communism grew more powerful. In contrast, he argued, “Reagan, who had always been this kind of cold warrior & great communicator, came along & told people, ‘Pick yourself up,’ you know? There’s a brighter day ahead.’” And, he suggested, only a “bada**” could call the Soviet Union an “Evil Empire” & get the desired RESULTS when it did fall apart soon enough thereafter.
