Radicals Started Trans Athlete War, Others Take Bullet?
Without falling into the transgender athlete “fairness vs inclusion” debate’s rabbit hole, many might agree the NCAA & state powers that be didn’t long ago have either the guts or common sense to create a truly level playing field for all.
Fox’s Laura Ingraham went a step further & urged “concerned citizens” to finally “push back” with “logic … common sense … and passion” about what a travesty has been made of transgender athletics at all levels and all ages. She focused her verbal guns to illustrate her point on Penn transgender swimmer Lia Thomas setting a new record for Harvard on her way to winning the Ivy League women’s 500-yd freestyle race and Yale’s transgender male swimmer Iszac Henig establishing a pool record in the women’s 50-yd freestyle. Yet, Ingraham noted, where was, is & will be “society” as female athlete after athlete must now face the reality that “no matter how much work they put in they are going to lose.”
The transgender community certainly seems to have been heard loud & clear … and largely accommodated … after years of trying & being ignored. Yet, as Ingraham says, there was hardly a whimper advocating for the rest of the athletes most affected by whatever “rules” were decided upon. Ingraham blames society for remaining silent. She blames the “cowardly” coaches, too. The athletes themselves, Ingraham suggested, are largely “intimidated by the MSM” and the “most powerful liberals” who have in unison been “cheerleading the perversion of sex roles.” And, now, the stark results are starting to come in. Well, doesn’t history tell us to leave it to the radicals to have started the war but let others caught in the battles take the bullet for them?
