Reagan Legacy Stands Test of Time

Leftists still try to destroy Ronald Reagan’s legacy. But, a new bio argues The Gipper was a “true leader” because he had an intellect so profound it “outwitted enemies” but had plenty of “compassion that lifted lives.”

It’s easy to trash our presidents, especially in today’s woke culture & amateur internet bitching sessions. As a result, maybe the “window” for objectively assessing their legacies will be pushed back by decades. Meanwhile, as the Fox News story relates, “Acclaimed historian & Reagan biographer Craig Shirley still hasn’t found” what he & Americans keep looking for – “a new leader” worth following. Yet, in his about to be published “The Search for Reagan,” we’re “getting closer to unraveling the mystery behind the [man’s] mystique.” We’re promised that the new book “chronicles what the author believes is the untold secret of Reagan’s success: strong moral compassion & the vast but underrated intellect of a philosopher-president.”

As Shirley told Fox News, “A true leader has a moral, physical & intellectual presence.” And there are multiple ways the 40thpresident “predicted the future, from weaponized medicine to [what he referred to as a new] Morning in America.” Perhaps the greatness of a man is also revealed by the whining of his modern critics. A Shirley noted, “The left wing always knew that to destroy American conservatism, they needed to destroy the most successful conservative president in 20th-century American history.” Has Father Time already cast his vote?
