Real American Leaders Are Our Fallen Heroes

Joe botched Afghan withdrawal he ordered with a pen & Putin erased his Ukraine diplomacy? All the more important these days to thank our real brothers & sisters in arms for their service in protecting us with their sweat, blood & lives?

It’s easy for our “progressive” and/or jingoistic MSM pundits & opportunistic pols to “put in context” the 13 Marines & service members who died at that ridiculous airport checkpoint by focusing on the Commander in Chief’s “bigger picture” and other talking points. Don’t want to hear it anymore? Have we ever? Especially on each year’s Memorial Day?

As the Fox News story reminded all too graphically: “Every day is Memorial Day at Dover Air Force Base,” where the last Americans to die in Afghanistan returned home after giving THEIR LAST FULL MEASURE OF DEVOTION so that we can live out our lives a little more securely. THESE are America’s true leaders. Let’s not only pray Lincoln was right in promising their sacrifices will never be forgotten, but how about also rededicating ourselves in their honor to making this nation a little better place in which to live …
