Red Letter Day If We Get Pass To Wuhan Lab Of Horrors
The WSJ editors recently reamed China & WHO in its “Wuhan Whitewash,” saying “WHO’s report on Covid’s origin echoes Chinese propaganda”. The document prepared by a WHO team of experts that had visited Wuhan earlier this year, says the newspaper, “is best understood as a whitewash heavily influenced by the Chinese Communist Party & Westerners with conflicts of interest.” The main gripe is that the Commies are suspected of telling the “WHO’s on First, What’s on Second” folks to blink when they passed by the Wuhan virus lab of horrors on their way to the Outdoor Food Market where bat droppings supposedly started the pandemic.
Clearly, the Trump & now the Biden Administration were/are frustrated at the obvious sweeping of key facts under the bamboo carpet, facts needed by Western researchers to do a full, scientific review of what happened. May I suggest whining about Chinese stonewalling is not going to get our researchers anywhere. Giving the Commies their standard “Red Envelope” might. You see, the Red Envelope containing a small amount of cash, I was told when helping a couple firms get licenses to do business in mainland China, was a Chinese tradition. It was required to help offset the cost of state controlled reporters & officials to do their job & give a favorable report for the requested license.” In short, no ticky, no tacky. It was definitely NOT a bribe though. Just a required show of appreciation.
There you have it, Joe. If you’d just send someone over to Beijing with a Red Envelope and the right amount of appreciation inside you might just get a pass to that Wuhan Lab of Horrors.
