Rep Porky Pigs Earmark Pet Projects in $1.5T Spend

Fox News took Congress to task for its addiction to MILLIONS in earmarks aka pork, the “Cocaine of this generation.” What’s worse, the pet projects abound in its $1.5T spending bill amid “soaring inflation & skyrocketing gas prices.”

Some examples of the “millions upon millions of taxpayer dollars” arguably poorly spent by our elected reps from BOTH parties:

$584K for a self-reliant urban solar village in Pa; $300K to fund a Hawaiian tree census; $2.2M to build a Bahamian Arts, History & Cultural Center in a Miami suburb; $1M for an Afro-Latinx immigrant COVID-19 Workforce ReEngagement; $300K to scare off seal predators along Washington State shores; $300K to reinvigorate endangered Chinook salmon; and $406K to help fight disparities of arthritis prevalence of rural-living Native Americans. Brother, can you spare a dime?
