Russia Weaponizes EU Gas Danke Joe

Russia has slashed its natural gas flowing to EU fulfilling the naïve NATO allies worst nightmare. They’re now without any hope for help from US after President Biden shut down Trump’s independent energy spigot. Danke, Joe.

As the WSJ reported, Russia is basically aiming this ultimate “economic weapon” at Europe as widely predicted. The brutal reality facing a Biden Administration that keeps insisting RUSSIA is going to be brought economically to its knees for invading Ukraine: “The continent might run out of natural gas this winter.” Apparently, “Russia’s state-owned gas giant Gazprom PJSC throttled deliveries via the Nord Stream pipeline to Germany this week, blaming missing turbine parts that were stuck in Canada due to sanctions.”

EU officials pooh-poohed the excuse and bluntly said Moscow was “weaponizing” gas against the EU member that have, low and behold, have imposed sanctions aka weaponized its financial strings on the Russian economy. Meanwhile, the WH IS sending more natural gas to EU countries while doubling down on its War on Fossil Fuels; Reuters notes the US natural gas supplies are themselves challenged & cannot come close to making up for the Russian product, which has been meeting the lion’s share gas the EU needs to keep its own economy going.
