Schumer’s Radical Abortion Bill Fails Logic 101
Chuck Schumer AGAIN proposes an abortion bill that would allow minors to get you know what without mom knowing while insisting mom can snuff life out of her unborn but alive baby. Does Chuck ever get tired of failing Logic 101?
The WSJ wasn’t fooled by Chuck’s lack of logic or hypocrisy in “Schumer’s Radical Abortion Bill…[His] Women’s Health Protection Act makes the new Democratic policy: Safe, legal and don’t tell your parents.” The editors recalled how Bill Clinton had once said abortion should be “safe, legal and rare.” In a separate WSJ op ed, Fla’s Rick Scott called out today’s gutless “dodging” of the key Q: “When Do You [Really] Think Life Begins?” Argued Scott, you “politicians may dodge the question, but the scientific answer is clear: At the moment of conception.”
Well, in today’s political climate, we can debate the “Life Begins” issue without reaching universal agreement until the babies see the light of day. But, the lack of logic and hypocrisy in the Dems’ policy-making foolishly undercuts their credibility. As the WSJ editors pointed out, Chuck tried to get his anti-parent abortion bill passed last year, but was defeated in the Senate and “it will likely fail to pass” in the Senate again this year. Maybe if Chuck used some common sense for a change he’d have a better chance of success?
