SF Voters Boot Son Of Weather Underground

Progressive SF prosecutor finally kicked out by voters thanks to his radical policies enabling record crime in once beautiful city … still sad the justice he denied countless victims can never be resurrected …

In the end, AP called it as a 61% landslide. In overwhelming numbers, San Francisco voters chose to recall their radical District Attorney Chesa Boudin for sitting on his brains while one of the nation’s “most liberal cities” saw unimaginable spikes in the murder rate, muggings, shopliftings, burglaries & without borders on the drug trade. Not that 39% of the voters still loved his “innovative crime policies,” including easy or no cash bail, refusal to prosecute as required by law so-called quality of life crimes & generally working to put as few of those convicted behind bars on George Soros-like mantras.

As the son of a left-wing Weather Underground extremist who spent 40 years in prison for 2d degree murder & 1st degree robbery, Boudin was defiant. Even in his crushing defeat, he insisted his policies are “a movement … broad … diverse … strong.” He thinks the only reason he got belted was that “corporate interests” outspent him in the grassroots recall effort. Is he as delusional as his father was?
