Shalom Anti-Jewish Stupidity at Columbia

The Almighty Dollar speaks even louder than woke & broke nonsense. Columbia U says it’s “ready to work with Trump to bolster disciplinary process” against anti-Jewish mobs on campus that was “only on paper” … but only after No. 47 cut $400M in grants.

At least the antisemitism on the Columbia campus may yet turn out to be more of a paper tiger as well. On Friday, the university’s Interim President Katrina Armstrong assured the school takes the cuts “very seriously” and will do something about it. Yet, Armstrong had accepted the top Columbia administrative job last August. It was only after the Trump Administration had cut off its funding largess last week to the school … along with a threatening one liner, “Shalom Columbia” aka “Hello Good Bye” aka “You are dead to us” … that the humble mia culpa issued.

But, let’s not quibble on dates or timing. Wrote a better late than never Armstrong: “I knew Columbia needed a reset from the previous year & the chaos of encampments and protests on our campus … The University also needed to acknowledge and repair the damage to our Jewish students, who were targeted, harassed and made to feel unsafe or unwelcome on our campus last spring.” She now vows to “work with the new sheriff in the White House to put its paper commitment to a safe campus into practice. Now, let’s see how that works out … Trust but verify.
