Soros-backed Va “Prosecutor” Gets Booted

Virginia judge boots Soros-funded DA off criminal case for “misleading” public on plea bargain as GOP AG taking over says “voters are tired of” prosecutors winking at suspects, in this case, involving 12 burglaries over 4 days.

Remember Loudoun County, Va and its school board’s progressive if not sometimes ridiculous “new curriculum” initiatives that push CRT & transgender issues on young students? The folks there also have a chief prosecutor who doesn’t seem to like to prosecute and has been getting away with it … until now. As Fox News reports, prosecutor Michele Burton “offered a 6-month plea deal to one Kevin Valle & asked Judge James Plowman to approve it. Problem is, the deal failed to mention the accused was a suspect in a long string of other recent crimes in Loudoun and other counties and has a rap sheet that might compete with Dillinger’s. The county’s DA, Buta Biberaj, as well as Burton were removed for not mentioning the whole picture to the judge in court filings. Put another way, the judge caught Burton and boss Biberaj doing an ultimate no-no. The DA for a nearby county will take over the case.

The state’s GOP AG Jason Miyares piled on by sending a letter to the circuit’s chief judge agreeing its local court “has rightfully lost confidence” in DA Biberaj. Biberaj received contributions from Soros’ Super PAC 2019 and has come under criticism for providing easy or no bond in many cases or not prosecuting them aggressively; earlier this year she hired a convicted sex offender as a paralegal leading to more criticism. She declined to comment on the judicial reprimand.
