Supremes To Consider Gender Fairy Tales

Don’t laugh but now the US Supreme Court is going to consider if grammar school parents can opt their kids out of LGBTQ fairy tale readings. Isn’t the real question, “Why are public schools allowed to push gender ideology on youngsters in the first place?
Somehow, “Gender Storytime” in our local public schools has become a “First Amendment” issue. As the WSJ editorial board noted, the Supreme Court will consider on Tuesday Mahmoud v. Taylor involving two storybooks that parents in Montgomery County, Md. complained the district added to its curriculum and what a reading curriculum: “‘My Rainbow’ is about an autistic child named Trinity who says, ‘I’m a transgender girl.’ It ends with a surprise gift from Trinity’s mother: a teal, pink and purple wig.’ [Then, there’s] ‘Born Ready,’ about Penelope, who tells her mother: ‘I don’t feel like a boy. I AM a boy.’ After this single discussion, the mother answers with unquestioning affirmation: ‘Yes. We will make a plan to tell everyone we love.’”
The op ed goes on to discuss the evidentiary facts, legal precedents, ya da, ya da. But, sorry. This entire fairy tale is about as twisted as the broke woke educational system has gotten in the last decade or so. Frankly, if one of my kids came home asking for my opinion on this nonsense I’d tell him, her or it, “Your teacher is sick, honey. Say a prayer for 'it', but Ignore this crap.”
